TMSmart eyewear sourcing desk
Smart glasses programs, specified temple by temple
Templora is a smart eyewear sourcing desk. We coordinate partner plants across the Shenzhen electronics base and the Chinese eyewear clusters, write every line down to the modules inside the temple, manage certification routes and check each lot before it ships. Start from the twelve lines or send a brief.
- 12 linesfrom open-ear audio to kids frames
- 50-500 pairstypical catalog start per model
- 3 supply chainselectronics, frames and lenses in one program
TM-002Temple teardown
Frame size52-18-145 mm typical
| # | Module | Typical options | Custom |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Front and lenses | TR90, acetate or metal front; clear, filter, polarized | yes |
| 2 | Hinge and flex | Metal hinge with flex cable to both temples | no |
| 3 | Board and chipset | BT 5.3 audio SoC, ENC per firmware | no |

Twelve smart glasses lines, three families
TM-001 to TM-012Every line is written as a teardown: what sits in the front, the hinge, the board, the cell, the acoustic or imaging module and the controls, with the options a brand can change and the ranges seen across the category. Audio lines carry most volume; AI, camera and display lines carry most of the questions; specialty lines - Rx-ready frames, sports and kids models, lenses and charging cases - decide whether a range holds together.
TM-AAudio glasses
Bluetooth audio, open-ear, bone conduction and business call glasses compared for range planning.
- TM-001Bluetooth audio glassesEveryday frames with open-ear speakers, calls and voice assistant access; the volume line of most ranges.
- TM-002Open-ear audio glassesDirectional temple speakers in tuned chambers for louder sound with controlled leakage; the brand anchor line.
- TM-003Bone conduction glassesTemple transducers that pass sound as vibration; ear fully open, fit and contact pressure decide the sound.
- TM-004Business call glassesMulti-mic arrays, ENC per firmware and multipoint pairing for hands-free calls and meetings.
TM-BAI glasses
Translation, camera, photochromic and AR display, and developer lines on one temple architecture.
- TM-005Translation glassesTemple mic arrays plus an app link to a translation engine; languages and latency per app.
- TM-006Camera glassesFirst-person photo and video with onboard storage, Wi-Fi transfer and a visible recording LED.
- TM-007Photochromic and ARLight-adaptive Cat. 0-3 lenses or a HUD display module, specified per lens spec and program.
- TM-008Developer glassesOpen SDK, BLE GATT and OTA access per solution house, with optional Wi-Fi, camera and IMU.
Rx-ready fronts, sports wraps, kids frames and accessories that extend a smart eyewear range.
- TM-009Rx-ready smart framesRx-ready fronts with standard frame sizes, swappable fronts or magnetic lenses, glazed by your lab.
- TM-010Sports smart glassesWrap PC or TR90 fronts, polarized or photochromic lenses, IPX4-IP55 per test and grip parts.
- TM-011Kids smart glassesLight TR90 or silicone frames, UV400 lenses, volume caps per firmware and a CPSIA route with CPC.
- TM-012AccessoriesReplacement lenses, magnetic pogo cables, charging cases, nose pads and temple sleeves for a range.
One pair, three supply chains
Shenzhen - Wenzhou - Danyang - XiamenA smart glasses program is not one factory. The electronic temple comes from the Shenzhen electronics base; the front and hinge come from eyewear frame makers, where local reporting counts about 1,200 eyewear firms in Shenzhen's Henggang subdistrict alone; lenses come from Danyang, which produces more than 400 million pairs of lenses a year by local estimates, and from Xiamen for sunglass lenses. The desk keeps the three chains on one spec sheet so the temple fits the frame and the lens fits the market. See the cluster map.
- CH-1Temple electronicsShenzhen: Bluetooth and AI boards, acoustics, cells and charging, with assembly in the wider Pearl River Delta.
- CH-2Frames and hingesShenzhen Henggang and Wenzhou Ouhai: TR90, acetate and metal fronts, hinges that carry the flex cable.
- CH-3LensesDanyang and Xiamen: Rx-ready blanks, polarized, photochromic and filter lenses to ISO 12312-1 or ANSI Z80.3.
- CH-4One program fileThe desk aligns fit, lens spec, firmware, certification and inspection, and ships one lot with one document set.
Programs for the way you sell
8 buyer typesA marketplace seller needs an FCC ID on the listing and a cell that ships under PI 967; a retailer needs a try-on display and staff notes; a brand owner needs its own mould, acoustic tuning and app. Each buyer page sets out the lines, quantities, documents and checkpoints that usually fit that channel.

Use cases the specs have to survive
6 scenariosWind on a bike, sweat on a run, an echoing meeting room, a busy station abroad: the use case decides microphone count, water-resistance rating, lens type and battery size more than any brochure does. These pages tie each scenario to the lines and test items that matter.

Engineering inside the temple
Acoustics - frames - lenses - power - firmware - imagingSound leakage, hinge cracks, short runtime and failed firmware updates are design problems before they are quality problems. The engineering pages explain the choices behind each module and which ones a buyer should fix in the specification.

Partner plants, audits and process
Clusters - audit - processTemplora does not own a plant. The desk shortlists partner plants by line and capability, audits them against the program, follows production from incoming parts to final assembly, and keeps the findings in the program file so repeat orders do not start from zero.

Quality, testing and certification
QC - lab - complianceBluetooth RF and EMC, RED cybersecurity under EN 18031, lens UV and impact, cell safety and transport tests, hinge cycles, sweat and spray: the test plan is agreed per order and every lot is checked before it leaves. Certificates are issued by labs to partner plants or to your brand per project and verified by the desk.
